I’ve been doing the Pure Barre workouts (DVD cause I can’t afford the class 🙁 )a few times a week for the past couple weeks and while I can see some good coming out of it I really need to mix in cardio to get rid of some fat.
I was wondering what y’alls opinion on Running vs. HIIT workouts are. I kind of hate running and I’ve never gone on a run outside before. I have the Turbo Fire DVD’s that have a few different HIIT workout options that’s pretty fun but the longest is only 30 minutes. Which would be more effective for cardio/burning fat?

I used to take bar method classes when I lived in LA and I loved it! The results I saw and I’ve seen in others are great. I think running is overrated personally. Try doing the workout 5+ days a week and make sure you’re not slacking! I don’t push myself as much on my own vs in a class.

I take barre classes 2-3 times a week. I think they are great for toning. I despise running! So for cardio I do spin class a few times a week or interval/circuit training classes. It sounds like the turbo fire dvds would be good for you. If you don’t feel that one is enough, try doing two in a row.
