I just bought the one they carried at CVS – it’s white with a lavender end (I’m sorry I don’t have a brand name for you).  I generally think any thermometer that is specifically labeled as “basal” and reads to the hundredth of a degree is fine, but I have heard bad things about the Target branded one (which surprises me because I love Target, but I’ve heard they have problems with inaccuracy).

I bought my first one at Target.  After I began questioning its accuracy (I was getting the exact same temp a few days in a row),I bought one from Walmart for $7.  So far, so good.

I started with the Target one but switched to one that I got at Walmart. The Walmart one seems better.

lealorali:  Amazon rocks! I just bought a year supply of pregnancy tests (really only about 2mobths for me!) there. I bought my bbt there too and it’s great. You actually can’t buy bbt in the shops in Ireland- weird!

I have the same one lealorali has, and also ordered it from Amazon. I like it just fine. It only reads to 10th degree though.

I used just a regular digital thermometer and it worked fine. I got pregnant the firsts cycle I started charting my temps.

I got mine through amazon as well. It is the Fairhaven brand and the reviews were really good. I also wanted one that didn’t beep the entire time it was taking my temp but only once when turned on and 4 times when done. It also does not have a back light to help save battery to last longer and has an easy to use (might need to read the instructions, I did) last temp. recall function. 🙂

I got mine through Kindara (https://kindara.com/r/aCHkQ0g5S). It’s awesome. It synchs wirlessly to your cell phone app and you don’t need to put it in your mouth and wait an immense amount of time for the beep.
