Okay, first off–we are on a tight budget and Fi is pretty opposed to spending more on centerpieces so opinions are welcome. We have small tables–36″ round that seat 4 for a backyard BBQ. Colors are mostly shades of blue, turquoise, and teal. with a little bit of an ivory accent. Basically I had paper lanterns matching the tablecloths, but then Fi kind of threw everything off when he decided that he wanted blue LED instead of clear for the centerpiece. The tablecloths I had picked out ended up being too close in color so I had to get a lighter shade of blue but now I have 3 different blues and very little white/ivory to offset this and I’m worried it won’t all match. Any opinions or ways to tie it all together without spending much?
Snow white and Turquoise Paper lanterns:
Floating lanterns in the pool:
Aqua tablecloths (I wanted to dress these up a bit anyway with maybe ribbon or a table runner or some type of paper design since they are plastic and I want to make them more creative–so maybe I can do something here to bring the colors together)
Then we have the centerpieces…
Not in our colors, but some of the ideas I was thinking about to add to the table anyway:
