FutureMrsK2014:  Go to a store that sells nothing but swimwear all year round. They have seen every body that exists and are experts in fitting, unlike the staff at VS or department stores.

The only one I could recommend is Venus.com

I buy my bikinis from there and I am also busty and hippy…. all their clothing fits fantastic and their swimwear is always really nice and great quality.

But I have to agree with julies1949. Find a swimwear store that specialized in nothing but swimwear. Like “anything but water” or “dianes”. These places will definitely have what you are looking for. No doubt about it.

Also, you can always go into VS and try on their one piece suits see if they fit?

FutureMrsK2014:  i am not sure your size…but this suit is the BEST thing that’s ever happened to me! i have it in 4 colors, the oldest one i have i bought 4 years ago and its still in great condition. its so flattering. i’m 5’7″, around 200 lbs, and am a 38F and the XL actually fits me great. it also comes in a plus option. any of these suddenly slim by catalina suits are fantastic. i have a couple of other styles too, but this one is my favorite!

I like shopping for bathing suits that actually apply cup size vs the whole S-M-L, since they never fit me.

I’ve loved my ones from ASOS.

I bought one similar to this last year from h&m. Mine isn’t see through though but it has crochet over top of a lining and the back and sides are open and it’s very sexy, not at all frumpy.

I hate bathing suit shopping (and pants shopping!) for the same reasons. This year I just bought my first one piece since I was a kid. I really like the retro look and I think it is well suited for a curvy figure. I got this one from amazon.

I definitely don’t have the body of a model, but I found an adorable and extremely flattering one-piece at Target of all places. Are you a fan of the “retro” look? If so, I’d say give them a shot. I also have a pricier suit from Modcloth (take a peek at their suits to get an idea of the style I’m referring to, you might find it more appealing as they tend to be more on the modest side without looking frumpy or old lady), and the Target swimsuit is styled very similar and surprisingly, has even held up better so far.

blankenshiptobe:  I bought that same suit last year. Only, I have the red one with white polka dots. I LOVE it!
