I think just some really basic stuff like ibuprofen, bandaids, safety pins, tampons, shout wipes, and those mini disposable toothbrush thingies should do it.  (And maybe condoms if you’re having a bunch of single people!  Haha.)

@lolot:  +1! I’d probably leave people to get their own condoms, though… But I’d definately second the other items! That is a great list. I’d probably also include a tin of mints (though the disposable brushes should do the trick), some unscented lotion, and some tissues.

@subola:  +1 for bobby pins and tums! Great additions!

Maybe you could have both ibuprofin and tylenol in the basket? personally, I only take ibuprofin because of the select few reasons why i would need it, and I avoid tylenol. I’m sure a lot of people choose one or the other selectively for similar reasons (granted, those people would probably keep it close to them)

I’ma ctually going to be discouraging our guests from using hairspray as we will be having a sparkler sendoff. 🙂 I’d like to avoid any flairups! 😀

All the items you listed is what I had in my basket, plus hairspray.

To be honest the only things used were the hairspray, lotion, Tylenol, and mints.

@OxKimi24:  +1 to the comb and spray deodorant! Particularly if you will have your guests spending any time outside (as I will)

Totally leaching off of this list later 😀

We did:

IB Profen

Bandaids (I’ve actually needed bandaids at other weddings)

Individual floss comb things

Contact Solution

Tampons/Pads for the ladies

Condoms for the gents (these were actually ALL gone by the end of the night)

Safety pins

Bobby pins

LIsterine tongue dissolver things

I think that was it.  Not everything was used, but it’s nice to have.  Plus, it was all stuff I’d use after the wedding anyway so I didn’t mind.

Floss. Especially if you’re serving meat. This will be a must have in mine.

Also, maybe a few hairties if people get really sweaty dancing and want to put their hair up.
