If you don’t think a neutral would look good, what about a jewel tone? Something like a blue, turquoise, or purple? What color is the floor?

i think bathrooms look good painted a nice calming ocean blue, with a bit of fading toward the ceiling, as long as your accessories match.

You could paint the wall with the vanity a “pop” color (like a jewel tone as mentioned above) and pant the other walls a neutral like a mauve or beige.  I would stay away from green and yellow hues- as they might mess with how your guests (or you) appear when you look in the mirror if it’s a smaller bathroom.

I would go with a light blue with the light oak wood. It will look very beachy!

I’d probably go with a light blue or green.

I am a light/medium wood fan and there are so many options that go with it. I agree with PP about a blue or green but only because I am partial to those colors. Anything goes with wood.

I would go to HD and grab one of their paint stain samples that is close to the color you have and take it over to the paint samples and see what really posp with it in your mind.

Do you have a specific theme or shower curtain you are currently using? Are you able to take a picture so we can see what you’re working with? We have chair molding in our bathroom and we painted the top half green similar to a celedon and the bottom half beige and I love it. Didn’t think I did at first but it’s really grown on me now. But, I think with seeing a picture, it would give us a better idea of what color to go with.

We also painted our upstairs bathroom a light grey. Used a silver, lback and white shower curtain. Accents in white, black, and grey. And touched up the white trim and it looks so clean.

You could stain the vanity a little darker – not a full reno by any means, but definitely a full weekend project – then you can pick any paint color you want!  Laughing

Could you paint the vanity and mirror?  We had a very light bathroom vanity that was looking old and tired…so I painted it!
