Toilet paper over, I don’t know why.

Toilet seat down but cover up, because I’ve done that too, haha.

Shower curtain closed so the water can dry and it doesn’t get mildewy.

SO agrees with all but the toilet seat. He wants the cover down because he grew up with tons of dogs, and they always left the cover down so none of them would drink out of the toilet. (We don’t have dogs, but he’s still in the habit of putting the cover down and gets annoyed when I don’t do it, lol).

Toilet paper over. Ugh I really don’t like, and don’t understand, under. It just doesn’t make sense!

Toilet lid down because I read about how flushing sends poo particles all over the place. So I’ve gotten in the habit of closing it before I flush.

Shower curtain OPEN because of the axe murderers who could be hiding behind same.

Toilet paper over ….. Darling Husband leaves it on the sink in front of the toilet… sigh

Shower curtain pulled over so it doesn’t get all mildewy

Toilet seat and lid DOWN … I watched Dr. Oz one day and he showed all the disgusting things that come flying OUT of that toilet when you flush … yeah all over the nice clean counter and toothbrushes and towels.

Toilet Paper: Just checked mine and its under. I think I prefer it this way, but most hotels have it nicely folded over! Fiance leaves the roll on the toilet or sink… men.

Shower Curtain: Open, I feel like the tub airs out this way. our curtains are clear anyway, so it doesn’t hide anything! 😉

Toilet Seat: Definitely down.. same with all the “poo particles” eew. flush with the cover down too!

Toilet paper… don’t really care.. as long as it’s on the roll or not empty

Showercurtian… CLOSED. 1) to let the showercurtain liner fully lay open so it dries 2) I didn’t buy a pretty curtain for it to be scrunched up in the corner.

Toilet seat- down of course… I kind of alternate between having the cover up or down I don’t mind too much. I used to be really really diligent about closing it before flushing bcause of reasons pp’s said about the poo flying all over. I also just recently bought the fluffy thing you put on the lid so now it looks nicer with it down and if i get up in the middle of night and sit down on fluff I know it’s not open. lol

Toilet paper: OVER!!! My SO used to do under (strange, I don’t get why people like it this way, it’s much easier to get at when it’s over) until I came along and told him that it annoys me if people put the end under. He still sometimes puts it on that way, and I change it. . . I think he forgets!

Toilet seat/cover: Seat down, cover up. I like the seat down, rather than up, because if I wander to the bathroom in the night mostly asleep, there’s no chance of my sitting on the nasty, narrow, potentially gross rim of the bowl itself. And cover up, most of the time, because it’s such a pain to have to lift it up and then lower it again each time one uses the bathroom.

Shower curtain: closed, because otherwise they get moldy and disgusting!

    This is a funny thread!

People who are so concerned over the toilet paper thing really scare me.  I’ve never been inconvenienced either way…

Most people like the TP over, but I like it under. It rolls easier that way for some reaosn, plus if you pull too much it’s a lot easier/neater to roll back up.

Curtain should be closed so it dries properly.

Seat down, cover up or down, I don’t care.

Who cares how the toilet paper lies. I have better things to worry about!

@Eglantine:  Ditto to all of this. Esp the shower :-/ Eeek!

ETA- @KateByDesign:  I hate hitting my knuckles against the wall when it’s under. Then I think about other people (presumably on that toilet before me) and their hands touching the wall, too. Blehk germs! (Irrational, I know.) But still, I’m the girl that will even flip it over at a friend’s house…at a party…drunk. I just have to have it over!

toilet paper- over. no real reason.

seat & lid- down because i don’t want my bathroom being sprinkled w/ pee & fecal matter.

shower curtain- closed, so it doesn’t get mildewy.
