The cleaning lady! We both work 50 plus hours a week. Our treat is a cleaning lady once a month. I’ll spot clean until she’s able to come and do a big clean.

FH actually had a cleaning lady before I even moved in so that takes care of alot. However, FH is domestic & does laundry and all. But I have never seen him do that bathroom honestly – I actually just cleaned it for the first time since I moved in since January b/c the cleaning lady couldnt come ( I was hoping she would) I did plenty of cleaning growing up in a Cuban household & FH totally understands that ( He’s even told me dont worry Ill make sure cleaning lady comes by once a week to clean when we have kids b/c the time I spend cleaning is taken away from time for other things) Im so blessed!!!!!!

I have always done it- and boy do I hate it! I am sure he would clean it though, but then my OCD comes into play and I know he won’t do it ‘well’ so I’ll end up cleaning it again.

He hates cleaning the bathroom, so it’s usually my job unless I’m super busy and he feels bad. I don’t mind b/c I hate dusting, so he’ll do that while I clean the bathroom. We make a good pair!

this morning hubby volunteered to clean the bathroom before ym parents arrive for a visit and I was so excited!  I think he will probably take this over.  He is, in general, more conscientious of keeping things very clean, while I am more focused on keeping things neat and organized, if that makes sense.  I do laundry, ironing, meals, bills, make the bed so things look neat, and he does dishes, kitchen and bathroom to keep things clean!

Hmm…I’m not sure who’ll do it. It might be him, because there’s not much "dust" in the bathroom, which is what he has issues with (allergies), but it might be me. As a guess, I’m going to say we’ll probably split it 50-50. =)

I do everything in both bathrooms except the floors, he does that. He does, however do the daily puuting things back in the cabinets, straightening the rugs and towels.

Overall, I’d say we take turns doing all the chores, including cleaning the bathroom. We never split the task though – whoever starts it, finishes it. 🙂

I clean the bathrooms with scrubbing bubbles and he does the floors and glass surfaces! 🙂

We both clean the bathrooms.  It mostly depends on who gets to each room first when we clean.

We’ve lived together for only one week, and so far it’s me… and I have a feeling it always will be. :-/ I don’t mind so much, really, as long as he’ll end up doing the kitchen.

Ah…the great Bathroom War of 2009. I remember it well. One evening I asked Fiance to help me clean the bathroom. He FREAKED OUT. Apparently he felt that, since we had moved in together I had been asking him to do more and more around the apartment. Complicated tasks like dishes, and learning how to make bacon. I guess he had watched one episode of Oprah in his lifetime. This particular episode was on how to get your man to do more around the house, and the bathroom was some sort of gateway chore. He was afraid I was’swindling him’ in to doing all the housework so I could sit around and eat bon-bons. He is now learning how to clean the shower, and Oprah is not welcome in our home.
