- Wedding: October 2013
It’s become an epidemic here me and 12 of my coworkers and close friend have gotten engaged within the past year. Maybe more we just got two of those brides over the thanksgiving weekend.
Now we’re all planning our weddings, sharing them with each other and other mutual friends but I noticed a sort of strife begining… One bride, (a coworker), was showing my deskmate her wedding gown (in our office it’s common curtosy to speak to both deskmates when approaching a shared desk, private conversations are generally reserved for lunch breaks or email), complaining about the bow in the back wondering what she should do about it. I asked her if she went to any other bridal shops they may have an almost identical dress without the bow. I have never seen so much RED in that woman’s eyes. Then she asked where I bought my dress, I told her. She asked how much my dress was, I told her. Then she just shut it down as though my suggestion was offencive.
Was I out of line? Or was this the start to an epic year of Battle of the Brides?
