Hi Bay Area Bees!
I’m a little lost in terms of finding a DJ for our September wedding. We have most of the other vendors sorted out (or at least know who we plan to use), but when it comes to the DJ, I’m sort of at a loss. We had a company in mind, but we recently went to a wedding that used the same company for their DJ and we were kind of – hate to say it – disappointed (this company was also a preferred vendor for our venue).Does anyone have any good recommendations? Or any suggestions on where to look?
Thanks in advance!
ETA: I did search through the archives and saw there were other similar posts, but most were from at least a year ago, so I just wanted to see if there was any additional info out there now. 🙂

@calisunshine3404: Where in the Bay Area is your wedding? We used and loved Amos Productions (Rob was our DJ – he is really fabulous!) out in Livermore for our wedding! 🙂

@pengoala: Thank you so much for responding! We are also having ours in Livermore and Amos is one of our preferred vendors, but not the one we saw in action, so I’m really glad to get a recommendation for them! Were you a Casa or PEC bride too? Thanks again!!

@calisunshine3404: We were actually married nextdoor to Casa Real – at Ruby Hill Golf Club. 🙂 I’d go to one of Amos’ introductory days, or whatever they call them, and meet with their DJs. They’re totally worth it!

@pengoala: That’s awesome! We love the Tri-Valley area, especially for weddings! We will definitely reach out to Amos, thank you! 🙂

@calisunshine3404: My friend is an awesome DJ, not sure what your budget is but he’s done a ton of weddings and big events (like Apple). I can PM you his info if you’d like!

Depending on the type of music you’re looking for, DJ Kepik is great! He doesn’t primarily do weddings, but because of that, he’s more reasonably priced.

Thanks for your input, all! We ended up booking DJ Rob through Amos Productions, which is a preferred vendor with our venue, so it worked out really well!
I’m going to go ahead and keep this thread open in case any other future Bay Area Brides are looking for recs!
