What city are you looking for? For how many people? I visited every of the biggest churches in the east bay and can send you a spreadsheet of them, and photos.

Not sure if the Swedenborgen Church can accomodate your number, but it’s quiet lovely.

There is the First Unitarian Church. It’s on Geary/Franklin Street and very nice. They have all sorts of spaces to have the ceremony and they offer reception stuff as well.

Hope This Helps

wow, pretty big. Same size as my wedding.

Check out: First Pres of alameda, Northbrae in Berkeley is BEAUTIFUL, but parking may be difficult, Eden United church of christ, Hayward, is where we’re getting hitched- they have a decent sized NEW reception hall, First unitarian in Kensington is also about your size, but a bit far.

I can email the list to you if you want: it has prices and capacity, different rooms, contacts, etc.

Calvary Chapel of San Jose and Cathedral of Faith (San Jose) are both pretty and large.  250-300 would be no problem, and I know Calvary Chapel isn’t super expensive (my home church!).  Hope this helps

I’m an old old bee now but you can look back on my posts for my church, First Congregational in Berkeley.  We fit over 400 people in it 🙂  I have the info and rates for our wedding in 2007 if you’re interested, but not sure if it’s changed since then!
