So, I just moved it into the cutest apartment ever. 🙂 I love it.
We have a smallish galley kitchen (like a little hallway for your kitchen) that terminates into the dining nook. The nook opens into the living room and the kitchen on two sides, has a blank wall on the third, and the fourth wall has three windows, forming the bay window, opposite the kitchen.
The dimentions are 7 1/2 ft blank wall to living room and 6ft window to kitchen.
I don’t have a dining set yet, but the keyboard is 3ft long, by 1ft wide, 2ft with bench.
I want to put a little two person dining table against windows and a electric keyboard piano against the third wall. We’d use the piano more than the dining table, so I’d love to make the table as sort of a audience area for the piano… and somewhere you could put a couple of dinner plates if you had to.
How would you design this space? I know the first idea would be to put the keyboard somewhere else, but that opens more issues than it solves.
