Hi girls! I am due to O just a few days(6-9) before my wedding(if the pattern continues), and I was wondering if anyone has BD a few days before there wedding, why would you or why would you not? We plan on TTC right away anyway since we have lived together a while and FH landed his dream job just recently. I obviously would not be showing and wouldn’t think I would have symptoms IF it were to happen right away. Any thoughts for me?

I say go for it! I didn’t get any symptoms until 3.5 weeks which is the EARLIEST of anyone I talked to. That’d be about 10dpo. I guess the only thing to think about is how much you want to drink at your wedding and/or on your honeymoon. Good luck!

Since Nov. 12 is the best day to get married…. , I say go for it too ! 😉
In all seriousness, definitely consult with your man and keep in mind your celebratory options at your wedding. Regardless that is soo exciting!!

I wouldn’t risk it. I know the women in my family get sick almost immediately. You never know.
And as they say, you shouldn’t make any huge changes (dye hair, first time wax, new meds, etc) right before a big event cause you just don’t know how it will effect you. I think pregnancy would fall under that.

FH is all for it(hes 4 years older than me) and we are not taking a honeymoon the best honeymoon gift would be to see a BFP! I am not a drinker at all so I would maybe have 2 drinks? Do you think that would be ok if I wasn’t sure if I was pregnant or not by then?
That IS the best wedding day isnt it hehe 😉

We considered it and I then decided against it. I wanted to drink wine during the wedding and honeymoon and ultimately decided I would feel guilty if I had a BFP a few days after drinking.

I’ve known of a lot of women who didn’t know they are pregnant and had a few drinks – the babies all turned out fine! (ofcourse they stopped as soon as they knew)
but because you are not a drinker and I know its probably not necessary for you, I would not think its worth it!
Thats great that hubby is down for some baby dancin early 🙂

I’m almost positive we conceived the day before our wedding, so I say go for it! Haha

@Bao:You most likely won’t have any symptoms (except maybe bigger or slightly sorer boobs).
Go for it.

I would wait for a number of reasons but a good one to consider is: I had symptoms in my TWW that would’ve definitely been a damper on a day like The Big Day…. My boobs got super sore & I had waves of nausea AND starting breaking out!…. Nothing “debilitaing” but I was glad that I was taking it easy and not having to stress about other things…. especially the nausea and the acne. lol
