    Your  arms look lovely and shapely I agree and that is a very neat and clean scar.  It will fade beautifully I should think, so in another 8 months may be hardly discernible . But a sheer mesh sleeve might be nice anyway.

    mrsbear2be :   I say let your arms  be free… You will probably be more comfortable and your scars are just part of the beautiful woman you are… As well as a sign of you and your fiance’s strong relationship. But only you know what you’re comfortable with and whatever you decide will be the right decision for you. 

    I am an occupational therapist and a lymphedema therapist. As long as you are at least 2 weeks post-op, you or your fiance  can start doing some massage over your scar or use a silicone scar pad to help find flatten/smooth the scar tissue.  Let me know if you have other questions and best wishes!

    mrsbear2be :  Excellent!  Sounds like you’re in good hands!  Your therapist could also teach you or your fiance how to do self MLD at home.
