Be Honest. Anyone out there who did not like your engagement ring? If so, what did you do? Do you still hate it or love it? Just curious. Thanks Bees
i added my ring, .44 i think its small but Fiance chose quality instead. I think it looks bigger in the pic than in real life lol

I was engaged previously and didn’t really like my ring it was the best I could get in the budget I had. Luckily I never really had to deal with the ring since we broke up for other reasons shortly after.
P.S. Love love love my new ring !

Don’t think the poll is working.
And everyone loved my ring! No bad news here 🙂

My guy and I discussed having a ring custom made, but when he discussed with the jeweller they told him it would cost far too much. So, as the spontaneous guy he is, he went to the jewellery store 3 days before our trip to hawaii and spur of the moment picked one. A round brilliant cut verragio ring. It was pretty, but I wanted something unique.
He knew I wanted something different, so he made a deal with the jeweller to be able to return my ring if I didn’t like it.
So we returned it when we got back, and I chose a tacori with a sapphire center.
Were both happy I got something I wanted, and I don’t think he was offended that I returned it. Since then, he has noticed that the original ring design is very common and he knows that I like to go the unique route.

I think I fixed it now thanks 😉

When I first got engaged, one of my friends asked to look at my ring. I held up my finger and she just looked and didn’t comment, so I guess she didn’t like it lol. But my DH didn’t like it either which is why I no longer have it!

I didn’t answer the poll because i don’t dislike my ring, it’s just not something i would have chosen myself. My Fiance picked it out by himself and chose a 0.8 (or 0.9. i can’t remember) carat Cartier 1895 solitar with fantastic specs. If it was me I would have picked a blue saphire or black diamond. But there’s no way I could change it now and I love it because he put so much thought into it, is so proud of it, and schlepped it all around Europe on holiday to propose in Paris.
love the ring you ended up with 🙂

I did want my ring to be unique, but each time I tried different rings none of them really spoke to me. I finally chose a classic set and I love love it! Everyone seems to love it as well 🙂

I love my ring! I will say shrinkage is real though lol!!! My family weren’t too impressed with it so that sucked :-/

I lost my engagement ring so my husband went and bought me a Neil Lane princess cut halo wedding set from kay jewelers. I don’t like princess cuts at all and the halo of this ring is too bulky for my taste. I did keep this set because I thought it was very sweet of him to surprise me with a new one since I was so sad about losing my ring. So this set sits in our safe and will go to either my son or daughter. I tried so hard to love it but it just wasn’t me at all. I’m very happy with my round dainty halo 🙂

gorgeou, I love the sparkle. If you don’t mind me asking what size is it? I have a solitaire but .44. I think it’s too small but my Fiance chose quality over quantity.

I wouldn’t say I disliked it, because it was pretty, but it wasn’t my style. It was a solitaire and I like them on other people, but I always wanted a chunky halo. We changed it on our one year wedding anniversary.
