I might be the queen of premature wedding planning:
- Visited 2 venues; one WITH SO, one secret.
- Went to a bridal show with a friend.
- One gown shop.
- One inspiration board on pinterest, one dedicated exclusively to handmade flowers.
- Started making “practice” flowers for toss bouquete.
- Currently making a budget spreadsheet.
- Countless discussions with former brides.
PS- I’m not really proud of this.

The only thing I planned by myself was dreaming about what my wedding dress might look like. FI and I mutually discussed possible venues, so once I knew what we both liked, I did look up some price points so we could start saving/budgeting before he actually proposed. (We knew we’d have a short engagement.) I didn’t make these plans before discussing them with him.
If I found out my partner had planned flowers/location/everything without consulting me, I’d be really creeped out. My Fiance had TONS of input on our wedding day, he enjoyed picking out his suit and helping choose food and colors and details…

I’ve done a lot of planning *blushes* my SO has asked but were waiting on the ring and another proposal (at his insistance) to make any announcement. I’ve looked at venues online, thought about theme, have colors and guest list ideas picked out. He and I have actually done a bit together after a friends wedding. I’ve also thought bridesmaids andgroomsmen but no One knoas that were planning.

My Hubby and i have planned alot of the wedding already, before the engagement.
Only reason for this was that we were waiting to get engaged for personal reasons (well mostly his ex wife leaving the state and all the drama that went with the divorce, then some time to regain finacnes, and time for it to be special lol).
So basically we have the diamond, the ring setting, and alot of plans LOL.
Also we talked alot just so that we both knew what we wanted 🙂
I am italian and if we have a wedding at home it will easily get MASSIVE, i want a small destination wedding with close family and a few friends – he wants the same…
We took a holiday to an amazing resort in the maya riveria – and KNEW INSTANTLY thats where the wedding will be.

More than I’d care to admit. I mean, I’ve thought about the actual wedding, but that is just one day. I don’t just want to marry my SO, I want to BE married to him. I have been looking at dresses and rings online, but only so that when the right time does come along, I’m not like CRAP…Why didn’t I plan this more? haha

@elenagilbert: I’m exactly the same way!!! We picked out colors, venue, everything. Just need to ring to set it all into motion!
