@bebefly:  This! LOL

And baby books. Whether boy or girl (or both), books will be appropriate! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve bought some books, a musical giraffe, a couple onesies, and a diaper bag.  In all fairness, the diaper bag is what I use to tote my sewing projects back and forth to my friend’s house….so it is a “Crafting bag” not “diaper bag.” However, most of these sewing projects in this bag happen to be things for babies (several baby blankets, a ton of baby bibs, hats, decorated onesies, and diaper covers).  I keep telling myself it is okay because those are meant to be sold on Etsy.  I like lying to myself sometimes to feel better.

Years and years ago (before we were even engaged or discussing children) I was buying for a friend’s baby shower and saw these cute ABC decorative cards. I bought those and still have them, although I’m not even sure I’ll use them with the little guy’s nursery!

Not a thing. I’m currently pregnant…just started my second trimester and still haven’t bought anything! Haha. Better get on that…

I thought I was pregnant a couple weeks ago (turned out to be an evap line) and when I went to get some digital tests to confirm, I wanted to get a onesie for my husband that says “daddy loves me”, as a cute way to tell him.  I could only find mommy ones, but I did find a really cute set with sleeper, pants and bib that says “I love my family” on the bib, in this super adorable ducky theme.  It looks like this, except the bib has more duckies and wording is different – http://www.carters.com/carters/4-Piece-Little-Layette-Set/V_121A793,default,pd.html?cgid=carters-baby-boy-little-layette-take-me-home-sets

The bad thing is I first found a matching receiving blanket, then found the set…and bought both.

Well seeing we are being honest….I seem to be in the minority but in my defense I did use to work at The Childrens Place!! So here it is….I have 4 plastic totes of baby clothes, 2 crib sets, couple blankets, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, fireman ride on toy (husband is a volunteer fireman), diaper rash cream, baby shampoo, and some shoes. I know….thats alot but I just cant stop, I agree with all of you about it being too depressing if we do have trouble which is a major fear of mine but I am just so excited and cant turn down a good deal either!

I’m constantly looking at hippo-themed baby stuff (my favorite animal, which they somehow don’t put on products for adults). Been able to restrain myself from buying it so far!

A onesie that I had planned to give to DH when we finally got a BFP (which he stumbled upon before we actually got pregnant) and a few books.

A Classic Winnie the Pooh lamp (because I found it at Goodwill for a few bucks) and several children’s books (bought at the library’s “$5 for everything you can fit in a bag” sale). We are not planning to get pregnant for a few years still! But couldn’t pass up these opportunities. If we somehow have trouble, I’ve got cousins/nieces/nephews ๐Ÿ™‚
