What is interesting is that I live in both worlds.
I have 2 jobs but the working hours are from 3 am to 7 am. I am a night cleaner. No rush hour traffic!
I get to stay home all day, sometimes I sleep a couple of hours after I get home. But generally I do go to sleep around 4-6 pm depending on what I am doing, so I get a decent amount of sleep. My bedroom is totally night, with very thick curtains so it is very dark in there. I sleep like it was night time in the middle of the day!

I would probably still work a part-time job or take up a side business out of my home. I’ve thought long and hard about this topic because its a very possible thing that could happen one day. But I know I couldn’t not work because I’d get bored LOL

If my fiance was making literally millions I would probably not work at all. I would spend my time writing and getting published and doing a TON of charity work and traveling.
If he was making, like $100,00+ a year I’d probably keep a part time job just for “play” money for myself or whatever and also do all of the above.

I’d probably not work if I had small kids, but if I got bored I would absolutely not rule out working part time.

Hell to the no I would not. I would volunteer, or maybe start a ‘for fun’ business like a bakery. But no, I would 100% not have any trouble quitting work.
Which is odd because I genuinely like my job, I just like not working better hahaha.

I expect my husband will make an good salary once we’re done with residency (he’s training in urology, I’m training in ob/gyn), so I will probably work part time for some time while my children are little. Once they are in preschool, I’ll probably go back to full time. I fantasize sometimes about being a Stay-At-Home Mom, but I think I’d eventually become depressed and bored, plus I worked way to hard to get to where I’m at and I don’t want to lose all the skills I’ve acquired so far.

unlimited money? i won’t work! well, i’d probably open up a huge ass dog pound so no dogs have to be euthanised anymore and work there.

We agreed that when we have kids, I will stop working, at least until they start school (I’m a teacher, so I can comfortably work during the school year, and still be home with my kids during long breaks/summer). I think its a pretty good compromise for us.

I hate work, I would so stay home if I could. I know, even if we were able to, the SO wouldn’t let me stay home anyway. We’ve actually talked about it and he says he will not be the only one paying for things. Stupid man.
