@nattiejeanne:  I love the idea of your wedding! Sounds like it is going to be so fun!

For the food, I would get more cheese and crackers if I were buying for my family and friends. I find at most parties that is what is consumed first! I know we are getting 4 portions of apps per person so maybe 3 cheese and 1 veggie? Usually a portion is 1-2 oz. That’s my best guess, not hard science 🙂

Cannot wait to see pics of it all!

@nattiejeanne:  I don’t camp, and I know I’m not alone, so just make sure your invitation is clear about when the actual wedding is 🙂

@nattiejeanne:  How big are the pizzas – 40 pizzas would probably be okay for 100 not-terribly-hungry people, but only if they are large (16″ diameter).  Often, wood fired pizzas are smaller, almost individual size – just something to think of.  Also for the sodas, I know my crowd would be much more into Diet Coke – that might not be true for your people, but just keep that in mind if there’s a run away favorite.

How many hours total will you have the drinks available? I ask because it seems like you don’t have alot of coke available [which to me would be the universal pleaser].

Are you getting the cheese/cracker trays pre-made, or doing them yourself? If you are doing them yourself I would go to sams or gordons if you have one or any other type of bulk place and buy large bricks of cheese, you’ll have TONS to make more than you’d ever need and save a bunch over pre-made. You can also get some nice plastic serving trays from the dollar tree for $1.

I’m not help here since I didn’t have to do food logistics, but your wedding sounds like SO MUCH FUN! Can’t wait to see a recap!

@nattiejeanne:  If possible, in place of water bottles I would get the large water bottles shaped like tanks. I am doing a terrible job of describing them, but they have a spigot/tap in place of a cap on the front of the bottle. You can find them in the regular grocery in the water section.

This will reduce the amount of clean up you have to do as you’ll just have a few large empty plastic tanks, rather than 280 water bottles. Plus, people are less likely to drink 1/2 a bottle of water, forget which one is theirs, and just go grab another one.
