Go for it! But if you did wear a bikini, I’d say either ditch or really minimize the veil…just my opinion.

You’ll save a lot of money on a dress! Would you expect your guests to wear swimwear too?

I would probably rather a simple white dress (doesn’t have to be a wedding gown) to wear for the ceremony but if the reception is a beach party then have the bikini for the party. Just my opinion but I’d feel silly saying my vows in a bikini.

Personally I think it would show lack of sincerity on her part (I am not saying that is true, but I think that’s how it would come off).

If it was your personality to pull something like that off, maybe it wouldn’t be such a shock.  Maybe you could get a cute wrap to tie around you during the ceremony.
