Here is my Maggie Sottero Emma…Can’t wait to wear her in 55 days! Can’t believe its been a year tomorrow since I said yes to this dress!

We will be getting married on the beach in New Jersey on May 21st…I loved the lace and how light it is. We live in North Carolina and I bought the dress when we lived up north…so it’s been transported, and we will have to bring it back up for the wedding. Not too bad. I love it! Good Luck!!!

Thank you for creating a thread for us beachy Brides!!!!

I will also be wearing Maggie Sottero’s Emma but have not got my dress back yet (this Aug they said) but this is me at the bridal shop when I said Yes to the Dress!!

It was so light and flowy…I am getting married at a beach front venue, and have pictures right on the beach weather permitting… cant wait!!!

If anyone wants to share their beach theme flowers and decor, I would LOVE to see it….as that is what I’m working on now!

Thank you,

:+)

Wore this for my Jamaican beach wedding. I’ve posted these pics a thousand times. Sorry if anyone is over them. While not my “dream dress” it fit my beach wedding perfect. Light and airy, just like you asked for, which is important when getting married in 80 degree heat!

harleybeachbride6:  Hi dress twin! Emma looks beautiful on you! I had my first fitting February 20th and my second is April 9th. I can’t wait to wear it again. It is such a beautiful beach wedding dress!

I also was wary to post, I have posted this dress so many times I am sure others are sick of it. Mori Lee has a beautiful Voyage line that is perfect for beach weddings. Ours was not but I was so sick of trying on dresses and didn’t want to pay much. It ended up being 90 degrees that day, so hot! It worked out well for the heat.

Me with our dogs. (I changed the trim on the neckline and waist) And this is with 4″ heels!

OMY I  think we are more than month and dress twins (just a different year) but your hair style,  dress colors, flowers including the decor are exactly what I am planning  and envisioning on MY big day right on down to the ombre CAKE…..that is too funny!  :×)

Are you doing fresh flowers and making all your centerpieces? Are you in Mass, that would be too funny if we’re in the same state?!

If you are looking to sell any of your Decor afterwards, let me know as I’ll be in the market!!  hahaha

I’ve also posted mine a ton and it doesn’t have a low back, actually the complete opposite, but I’m posting it anyways lol. From the skirt up, it is all mesh, and then the skirt is tuelle  the entire dress if very breathable!

harleybeachbride6:  Haha thats so funny! Great minds think alike! We live in North Carolina, but are getting married in New Jersey. We are from New York…so we wanted a beach wedding close to our family, but not in New York since we thought Long Island would be too expensive for us.

Our flowers will be fresh…we are only doing personals for flowers in an attempt to save some money. 4 bouquets (mine and 3 bridesmaids), 4 boutonniers, and some petals for the flower girl came to $535. So we will be DIYing our centerpieces. We have made some other little pieces for the day too, including a sign with our initials and date made from shells and the like.

We still have more work to do with the decor…its stressing me out haha.
