@dynamic_duo: I totally agree. it hink you can wear anything for a beach wedding. it doesnt necessarily need to be typical flowy dress.. You can make anything your own!

@kim14410: yup. and i totally struggled with that when dress shopping way back when. i thought i had to get a simple, flowy beachy dress and i hated all the ones i tried on! finally a dress consultant told me to get over that idea and get what i want as the contrast of fancy on beach will look awesome and i felt free after to try on anything!

I agree with pp, I didn’t like any of the typical “destination” dresses. Only issue was my dress was hemmed for the heels I wore to the indoor reception so I dragged it all over the beach.

@LGenz: That is BEAUTIFUL!  About what time was that picture taken?  I am getting married on the beach at 7PM and I have no idea how bright it is going to be outside at that time, since the wedding is in summer, which means the sun sets late.

@Pinksapphire: Thanks! My ceremony was at 7pm as well. This was post-ceremony so it must have been sometime between 7:20 and 7:45

Love all the dresses on here.

Quick note my photographer did say stay away from tulle on the beach…Because it picks up the sand. She said she had a bride with a tulle ball gown on the beach. The poor bride could not move because so much sand pick up in her dress. The bride ripped the inside layer of tulle to move.
