I got these flip flops from Havaianas. The have a back strap and are really comfy! They also don’t make the flip flop sound so sand is not going to flick up your dress.

I am going to decorate them like this.

I’m having a beach wedding and I think I’m going to go with those sandal wraps with flowers on them. You can find them on Etsy. Theyre called nude shoes, I think

beachbride2bee:  I’m not getting married on the beach but if i was i would use sandal wraps. Jaime otis from married at first sight had her vow renewal on the beach and her sandal wraps looked amazing with her dress. I would just use a simple sandal for the reception.

beachbride2bee:  I think that you could just do a pair of flippie floppies. If you’re wearing a long dress no one will notice anyway, right?

We didn’t get married “on” the beach, but  in a gazebo over the ocean- we took most of our photos on the beach- I wore flat jeweled sandels. They were super comfy and I can wear them again- I’m actually wearing them today! Don’t waste your money on heels, go for flat sandals or a flip flop.

I bought 1″ wedges that I’ll probably wear. Alterations made my dress just long enough so also taking some bedazzled flip flops (that I still need to buy…) Incase I feel like my dress is too short the day off. I like the cute wraps but then what do you wear for the reception or any photos taken off he beach??

Personally, I would do wraps for ceremony and photos on the beach, and then white flats (or heels if that is what you want) for reception and photos off the beach. Wraps look like it is a quick process to take off, so it should not be too much of a hassle.

beachbride2bee:  I got married on a beach in Florida in 2011 and I went barefoot. I’ve always loved the way the sand feels underneath my feet anyway 🙂 For the reception I just wore a pair of dressy flip flops, but I also didn’t have a wedding “gown” it was more like a floor length sundress, so barefoot definitely the casual overall feel.

These are mine! My wedding will be on grass on a cliff overlooking the ocean and we will be taking our pictures down on the sand!
