@badabing88:  I might steal your idea.  I have been looking for some blingy platforms or wedges and couldn’t find any I liked.  I like these but I wish they came in turquoise to break up the white.

I don’t think you’ll look stupid, but why would you get the shoes if you can’t wear them for your actual wedding?

@beachbride1216:  The only other color I’m aware of them coming in are black BUT Volatile makes a TON of cute wedge flip flops and if you check them out on shoes.com they may have a color closer to what you’re looking for and you could just add bling 🙂

I tried wearing heels to a beach wedding. Didn’t work so well and I had to take them off ASAP.

@badabing88:  These are great for a beach wedding. They look super-comfortable and easy to walk in. They even seem more comfortable than walking on the beach barefoot!

I bought heels to wear for the day except the beach ceremony. I will get flats for the part on the beach

@MrsD2Be:  Could you wear heels for formal photos and the reception, but wedge sandals in the same height for the beach ceremony?  Personally, I am wearing fancy sandals the entire time for my Maui wedding, but I am 5’10” and if I wear a one inch sandals I don’t have to alter the length of my dress.

No to the heels unfortunately.  I also got married on a beach in Hawaii and had to give up my Ivanka Trump heels for ugly white “flip flops”. They were ugly and bulky but gave me at least 2 inches.  No one even noticed and I made sure to let my photographer know that I would like them hidden in the pictures.  Theres only one picture where you can kind of see them but every other one is hidden by my dress. I wore my heels getting out of the car for photos but switched right before heading down to the beach.  I put the heels on once we got back to the car and no one knew the difference.

It sucks but there is no possible way to comfortably wear heels in the sand.  Plus, its super dangerous and you wouldn’t want to roll your ankle or something.  Then you can’t wear heels at all!
