We are having our ceremony at a really beautiful beach in a cove with gorgeous cliffs surrounding.
I’m trying to decide if we should set up an arch with chairs and a runner, of course I would like to keep it minimal and simple. or if we should just have nothing, that way the beauty of nature will be the only backdrop and scenery.
What do you think?

I think you can definitely forego the runner – seems too formal to me on the beach. If you don’t want to do an arch, what about just potted plants? I feel like there should be *something* that denotes where your standing. I think it will also help center/focus the pictures.

I got married on the beach, and I chose not to “decorate” the site. I didn’t want anything to distract from the setting, or from us.
Plus, it saved time and money! Here are a few pics:

@dynamic_duo: Thank you! I feel like I’ve posted them a zillion times; hoping the most active bees don’t get tired of them. 🙂 I posted a bunch more here:

I wouldn’t do a runner because of the difficulty walking on it in the sand, but we are doing a rollout “boardwalk” type walkway. Perfect for the beach!
