Watch out for the waves! My Fiance and I got toppled by a huge wave when we were walking along the beach, looking at the photographer, about halfway through our session. Wish he got a picture of it 🙂

Be wary of sand getting everywhere! And wear shoes (or none at all) that are comfortable on the beach.

I did my engagement shots & a TTD session and we used a local fort and the beach for ours… Sand will get everywhere, but you know what, the beach is great for pics. Just make sure you wear solid colors & if you are worried about messing up your clothes, bring an old sheet to sit on!

Here’s my e-pics.

Get to the beach early and take off your sunglasses to let your eyes adjust to the sunlight. It will help you avoid those squinty moments. You might also want to bring a change of pants just in case.

I know this is an old post – but for anyone who searches it – a quick tip for beach e-pics or weddings:  If you are a sunglasses wearing, a few weeks ahead of time, start weening yourself off of them! Youd be surprised but it makes a big difference!

I know this is an old post, BUT it’s very handy.

They are right about the sunglasses, but we got lucky as most of our day it was partly sunny!  So we had some great pictures, bring easy shoes for the beach or don’t even bother,  Bring a towel and a change of clothes!  My fiance and I got soaked!!  A huge wave came up behind us and almost took me down, so glad it didn’t.

Jeans or Khakis look great with a white shirt!

Here’s mine.

We did epics at the beach… I suggest going right before sunset… the lighting was awesome and we got to have light and dark ones!
