I really want to have my wedding in Myrtle beach and the reception at a beach house. I am having some issues locating a house that I can rent within my budget of 5k that allows weddings. I’m only having 30 people max and I don’t want to spend 10k on 30 people. Can anyone provide suggestions please

I hear you, fellow bee! I’m having the same problem. So far, AirBnB has been my buddy on that front. When I tried to go through real estate websites, I only found suuuuuper expensive options, and options that only let you rent from Saturday-Saturday. On AirBnB, you can filter it so it only shows your results that allow events.
Good luck! And lemme know how it goes, I’m knee-deep in my location search right now for Virginia Beach 🙂

I don’t know if you found what you are looking for our not in Myrtle Beach. My sister got married on the beach a few years ago. She didn’t rent a beach house. She went through Myrtle Beach Weddings by Beach Occasions. They are a husband and wife team and they do a fabulous job. There number is 843-742-9339 and website http://www.weddingsinmyrtlebeach.com
and the packages are inexpensive. You can also find them on facebook. My sister had rougly 45 people in attendance and we had the reception at texas roadhouse grill in their loft. She also had a wedding cake delivered to the restaurant which I think Myrtle Beach weddings recommended the baker. Everyone rented a room from one of the local resorts/hotels for 1 to 2 nights and some people drove down the 3 hours and then drove back home that night.

I definitely suggest AirBnB but the option PP has sounds great, too!
I’m actually a photographer in the area if you need any tips/assistance with anything else! 🙂
