I can’t think of why anyone would think matching mani pedi would be tacky.  I thought that was a pretty classic look.  I’ve never been one to pay attention to what’s in though, I’d say just do whatever you like with your skin tone.  Really, I dont think there’s a wrong nail color.  Maybe a nice bright pink/red is always a safe colorful choice?

Im not sure why a matching mani/pedi would be tacky, I usually get different colors though just because I have the hardest time choosing haha. That being said they usually coordinate in some way. I just went to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and did a pastel light blue on my hands and a orchard purple on my toes and loved it! Pastels are really in for the spring this year but you can never go wrong with bright colors! I also like different shades in the same color scheme like lime green and mint. Or  What about a light blue and dark blue or lilac and dark purple. Big fan of mint and purple, neon pink and mint, pale yellow and baby blue , I could go on forever. Anyway if you haven’t gotten it before I 100% recommend getting gel nail polish for your mani since you will be at the beach. It costs a little more but won’t chip or dull, mine usually last abt two weeks! Have fun.

rachel85:  I did shellac on both fingers and toes for our honeymoon, since the sand/saltwater can be so harsh on skin/nails. It stayed perfectly the entire week. I did a nude, sheer pink on my nails (so it wouldn’t be super noticeable if it DID chip) and a neutral “greige” (gray-beige) on my toes, as I wanted them to coordinate with almost any other colors I chose to wear.

BWLE:  +1 on mint… It’s my current favorite for my toes… Looks great with a tan, too.

Get a no chip!  They will last so much better through all the sunscreen, sun, water, and sand!  I second pastel colors or something really bright.

The “in” colour this year is Radiant Orchid!

I don’t really match my hands and feet, I tend to go more neutral on my hands and bright on my toes, haha
