we’re getting married on the beach in belize and we don’t have very many options as far as procession music.
for other beach brides: did you get married with music? what kind of music was it? did you use like an ipod docking station or pay for a musician to come and play?

the resort i got married at had their own stereo and speaker system they used for weddings on the beach. it was loud and clear. i brought my own music though. i chose a beachy song for the bridesmaid to walk to “kokomo” by the beach boys (partyl because montego bay, jamaica is mentioned in the song), but for my walk down the ailse, i chose a sappy song i love, not beach related – From this moment, by Shania Twain. For signing papers and walking out, i chose Bob Marley songs – again because we were in Jamaica.

We’re getting married in Jamaica, and the resort will play the music for us. I haven’t sorted out all the details with them yet, we’re in the process of the emails and booking at the moment. My fiance and I were listening to songs the other day, and I have always LOVED Bob Marley, so I might end up with one of his songs, we’ll be in Jamaica Mon! I’m not too sure yet, but I’m pretty certain it will be some type of raggae. I also love the “somwhere over the rainbow, what a wonderful world” song by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.
For us, I don’t think we’ll go super cheesy on the song entrance, only because I’m pretty sure my vows will be incredibly tear jerky!!!

I can highly recommend getting someong to plan an accoustic guitar. *blissful sigh* It was amazing. I walked down to the accoustic version of chasing cars.

We are going to jamaica. Someone is going to play and sing “grow old with you” by adam sandler! as we all walk down the beach. Then after we have hired a steel band.
