Who had a wedding and reception without venue on the beach? How did you do cake and food? What kind of food did you serve? Where did you get ready, etc? I am so lost!

My sister had her wedding at the beach. She found a company that offered different packages. They provided decorations for the ceremony space on the beach and picturess. It was a husband and wife team and he performed the ceremony and the wife took photos. The ceremony and pictures were gorgeous. We actually rented hotel rooms and stayed the weekend. We all got ready together in her room. After the ceremony we went to a local restaurant for the reception. My sister ordered a cake from a local baker and had it delivered to the restaurant. I decorated the restaurant that morning, as they allowed. They had never had a wedding reception held at the restaurant. We had a semi private area for the reception and we were in a loft so we were away from everyone else at the restaurant. It was fun. They paid for food and drinks for the guests. Google beach weddings in your location to see if there are a few places that can offer packages and take care of all the details for you. All she had to do was show up and get married. It was beautifully decorated.

It’s going to vary a lot by location and what you envision for your wedding. What beach are you thinking about getting married at?

I’m getting married at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Mexico! It’s an all-inclusive resort so it’s going to be a lot easier to organize everything as they’re known for their weddings! They have a bunch of locations, packages, etc so maybe it’s worth taking a look. Also, if you’re really lost, I recommend a travel agent who will be able to help with all of the details.
