I am so jealous! we vacationed there for my b-day and it was the best time I ever had. Where in PR is your ceremony? I am having a beach wedding in Santa Barbara we are doing an arbor with colored chifon and lots and lots of petals thats about it, With the beauty of the beach you really won’t need much else

i voted for what i did because i thought it looked great! i had a canopy as my wedding arch and had chair ties on the chairs, and just a few scattered petals on the aisle.  i LOVED how it turned out.

here is my wedding arch, but you can’t see the chairs in this picture.

so here is a sample picture of the look i had been going for for the chairs (mine had purple ties, but not flowers or anything on the chairs.)

I’m not really a fan of the arch… I feel like it blocks the line of sight to the ocean (that is the view you’re paying for!)  I like vertical decor (which is what I’ll be doing similar to the photo below).  I will have the aisle lined with ferns and flower arrangement – just not as ornate as below.

Also, inbetween the decorated tiki torches I’ll have small palms like below… Of course minus the ceremony arch!  The aisle is more similar to what’s below.

This is my inspiration picture but we will not have flowers on the arch and no runner, just lots of petals down the aisle.

I think keep it minimal because you got the ocean which is beautiful in itself, but it is a wedding after all and the arch is a must! (for me at least 🙂

You don’t NEED anything because you and your groom will be the focal point no matter what the decor. But, it is nice to have something to frame your pictures.

    Something very simple like this

or this for an evening wedding

or simple bamboo poles with streamers

I feel like the ocean and beach can speak for itself. It will be beautiful without anything there.
