My fiance and I are planning a wedding 6 months from now! well since iv been looking it seems people plan there weddings up to 2 years in advanced i personally think they are crazy, but now that im looking at locations and everythings booked. so now we are looking at beach weddings and everythings open!now im worried about renting chairs tables and wedding decorations.
I decided to skip the reception and just have a after dinner to save money. Do people do this or do I sound crazy now?
Whats the average cost of a small beach wedding? Im planning about 20 people coming all my family lives up north. I live in florida if that helps.

There really isn’t an “average” cost because the options are too many to count. For just a few people likethat though, you could probably do the whole thing for just a few hundred $$ if you really wanted to– or you could spend thousands… again, the options are limitless.
As for the planning, many peopleplan well in advance, but you certainlydon’t need to. I didn’t book anything except for my venue until about 8 months before my wedding, and the only reason the venue was so early (about 11 months before) was because we were anxious to pick a date. So, once it was set in stone, I relaxed a while until I needed toworry about the rest of the issues.
