My fiance rented a house on the oregon coast to hold our wedding ceremony as well as a small family dinner afterward. unfortunately when we went to the house the backyard is not level and covered in foot tall reeds and the beach only extends about 15 feet from the water.
anyone have any ideas on a way to set up tables for about thirty people on either the very small beach or on the bumpy yard?

Hi date twin and Oregon coast twin and Welcome (since this is your first post!)! I don’t know where you will be on the Oregon coast, but I know in the Cannon Beach area the tide changes constantly throughout the day (from 2 ft of sand to several yards). Is the 15 feet from the water during high or low tide? We had to check the tide tables for our ceremony on the beach. Hopefully, you visited at high tide.
I would ask the rental company if the reeds can be removed if they are dead. If not, maybe having some people outside and some inside, or just move it all inside if there is room. If there is beach access from the backyard people can also take their food to the beach and eat.
Good luck figuring it out! I hope we have minimal wind and some sun! No rain!
