I wore a hair clip shaped like a flower with CZ in it.

I’ve seen lovely pictures of veils on the beach though. Do you really want a veil? If you do go for it 🙂

I voted both, how about you wear a Veil for the cermony then take it off and wear the flower for the reception? I say wait until your dress comes in and try the viel on with it and see if you want to wear one. My wedding dress shopping has been bad, but I am so shocked that I like veils

I saw follow your instincts if you wanted a veil wear a veil, just don’t get a cathedral length veil that wouldn’t make sense on a beach, good luck either way1

I vote hair flower. If it’s windy, the veil might blow around and bug you.

@Nat_can: Well then I think perhaps you should have both! If it’s extremely windy you can choose not to wear the veil on the day or take the veil off after a few photos? I wouldn’t want you to regret not doing something you originally wanted to do. There are so many opinions and options with weddings it’s hard to stay focussed on what you want 🙂

Have you tried on a veil and hair flower together to see how they look in combination? Either or both could work:  veils can be stunning for beach weddings.  A hair flower seems perfectly suited for a wedding in Hawaii.  If you don’t like how they look together, but you still can’t choose, TwoCityBride’s suggestion is an excellent one:  one for the ceremony, the other for the reception.  Good luck in your decision — I’m sure you’ll look lovely, whatever you choose!

I like the hair flower, it seems more in line with the informality of a beach wedding.

I saw a post just like this recently…I will be on the beach with both, but just the flower for the reception.  Here’s a pic of both while trying on my dress –

I am getting married in Hawaii as well and wearing a cathedral length veil. I think a flower clip and veil would look lovely; especially if you have a fancy side ponytail with loose curls or soemthng. Gorgeous!
