I’ve been using BBOD since I relocated 2 months ago. My DVD player, dumbbells, workout bench and and whatnot haven’t arrived yet, so the on-demand is coming in quite handy. I like Shaun Week, Cize and T-25 the most but I’m familiar with several others. I try to do it 4-6 times per week. Knowing your particular goals would help in determining which workouts to use. What do you hope to accomplish? And what kinds of equipment do you have at home (or are you willing to buy?)

kmmq72 :  It sounds like you’d be off to a good start with clean week, then. I wouldn’t worry about being winded because most BB videos have a modifier on screen who can show you an easier version until you’re ready to progress. I recommend Shaun Week after Clean Week. After that, you might switch to 21 day fix (since you have 10lb weights).

I *love* BOD and  recommend it to everyone – I bet I sound like a coach, though I’m not!

I don’t use Shakeology because I think it costs too much. I subscribe to  Protein Milkshake Bar instead.

21 day fix is great, I loved P90x30, and laugh if you want to, but I’m doing Country Heat right now and it’s great! Maybe try that if you are looking to build a habit and ease in? it’s no weights, and a country music version of Zumba, so it’s fun too. Only 30 minutes. I’d recommend for a starter.

As for extra equipment, check out Craigslist! I got some great weights there dirt cheap as people swear they will use them then don’t 😀

Also, join the BOD facebook group. Tons of people post pics for motivation and ideas!

one more pro tip – check amazon for knock off containers. They are under $10 there. OR just google the sizes, and measure the stuff yourself.

I have Shakeo and BOD, and I love it. I really enjoy the T25 program because it is so short (only 25 minutes), but there are so many programs that are great, and you don’t need the weights. Cize, Country Heat, T25, PiYo (my personal favorite), Yoga – so many! The only hard part is consistency, and meal plans if you go that route. Good luck bee! I’m here if you need help! 🙂

BOD wouldn’t work on my TV for whatever reason, but I use several of the BB workouts (Core de Force, TurboFire, and T25) and I love them all. I’m starting a hybrid of T25 Alpha/Beta next week after Thanksgiving and just finished week 20 of TurboFire today. I used Shakeology for a while but honestly it was too expensive to upkeep when I didn’t notice any difference in how I felt.

I’ve lost 30 lbs (147 to 117 lbs) doing the 21 day fix extreme and shakeology and have now kept it off for 2 years.  Best thing I’ve ever done for myself.  It’s now a way of life for me.

Second time I’m seeing this BOD on wedding bee and I’m intrigued. So I sign up for a 14-day free trial and if it is working I will pay for membership. Anything I should take note of before I join?
