I much prefer a nice simple bridesmaid dress next to an elaborate lace/beaded wedding dress! They’ll complement you without competing 🙂 I had lace and beading (less pronounced than yours as it was ivory on ivory) and my girls wore different shades of simple teal dresses.

gracendrake :  I actually did something very similar to what you’re thinking with my beaded lace dress.  Here is our photo.  I think since my dress was fairly elaborate, something simple complimented my dress perfectly just like glitters said above. I don’t have professional photos so that don’t do my ladies justice but it worked out beautifully!

My BMs are wearing black and all mismatched dresses from David’s bridal. And my dress looks a lot like yours! I’ll post some of my dress and then their dresses but keep in mind the dresses will be black not those colors. I have six BMs in total but the other two I don’t have pics of, they are wearing the versa dress from David’s which you can wear like 30 different ways ..

My bridesmaids actually wore the Jenny Yoo dress in blush pink.

I really love the bridesmaid dress in your post. If I were one of your maids, I’d probably get it shortened after the wedding to use as a party dress!

Have you looked at the lace options from David’s Bridal? I chose a color, and my bridesmaids each picked the dress they preferred from the lace options. In the end they all chose lace/mesh dresses that were around $130-$150. There are also cheaper options, but I think the line caps out at around $200.

I’m wearing a beaded lace gown and my bridesmaids will be in BHLDN separates with lace tops. I wanted them to somehow kind of mesh with my dress but nothing too flashy.

Here’s my gown:

And here are my bridesmaids:

The tops were $60 and the skirts range from $160-$200ish.

I love the dress you posted though. It’s very classic and beautiful. If you want something lace incorporated, maybe somehow add it to their bouquets?

My dress is sort of similar. My bridesmaids are wearing lace Adrianna Papell non-bridesmaid dresses.

I’m wearing Maggie Sottero’s Elison and my bridesmaids are wearing Angelina Faccenda for Mori Lee.

I had fairly heavily beaded lace, and my girls wore tulle convertible dresses

I wanted the bm to have a little special detail without being over the top. I think the simple bm dresses look great next to your dress though!

gracendrake :  A slate tux would look divine. As for your Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses – are you opposed to a mix/match? My Angelina Faccenda style for my girls has the same fabric/pattern but varying necklines. If you get from AA or DB you should be able to get the same colors/shape/fabric and allow each girl to choose a neckline that suits her.
