    These don’t go! Choose a simpler fabric

    They work well together

    I don’t see any conflict with the sparkly material and your dress. Without the lace, which would be too busy and compete with the lace on the dress, it will go beautifully.

    I think the sparkle would be great, but why ankle length? I think it would look fab just a few inches longer than your dress train.

    I think it’ll be fine without the appliqués. The fabric is still sheer enough that you’ll be able see your dress through it so the sparkles won’t take away from it at all! It’s a neat alternative to a veil and super versatile.

    I like the idea of a sparkly cape, but don’t think the patterns go together. You have a beautiful floral dress, and the cape has modern starbursts on it. I would get a cape where the sparkles are just diffusely scattered dots.

    @katebluestone:  Exactly my sentiments. The star sparkles clash with the traditional lace, IMO.

    @murmurings:

    Subtle all over shimmer sounds good to me. I like the cape very much, but personally l think they are best over very plain dresses, or where you need shoulder coverage for church or something.
    A long plain – veil worn ideally from the crown of the head and flowing over your shoulders, not just in a bunch from the back of your head)-  would add a layer of tulle just the same .

    I like capes with certain dresses (especially for winter weddings) but I’m not sure what such a sheer fabric will add to your look from behind, even if it wraps around the front a little. Is the purpose just to add more sparkle?

    I love your dress, and I think that it makes the most sense to either go with a sparkly veil or go big with an opaque cape for a more dramatic look for your ceremony (then shed the cape for your dancing/party).
