So for years I have had my dream dress (FYI I’m a waiting bee, dating for 5.5 years, we have agreed on a 2014 engagement and a 2015 wedding, late 20s and currently 230lbs *cry* ) that I showed my SO about three years ago and he hated, but I ADORED!!!
I loved this beautiful beautiful thing for years and looked for something to match it for years and years and then saw that the company went out of business (and cried and cried) and resigned myself to getting it custom-made (with minimum changes hopefully, if the custom-dress-making-company would let me) and THEN.
I came across that one a few days ago, and for the very first time, my initial dream dress found some competition. Soooooooo now I don’t know which one to plan for!!
One is playful and fresh, and to be honest more “me” (traditional and bombastic, shy and vivacious, is how my SO describes me lol), but the other one is sooooo beautiful and classy and OH-MY-GOODNESS-THE-LACE!!!!!! I can’t decide on which one I like more, I like them for different reasons.
Also, the Eternity Gowns custom would go with something like a chapel veil with beading on the edges, I think. The Ellis dress would go with a long (maybe even cathedral length?) mantilla or pseudo-mantilla veil (mantilla-like edges).
The first would fit with the playfulness that my SO likes, but the second would go with my traditionalness and the full Nuptial Mass (with incense and all if my priest lets me!!) that we are planning to have.
Thoughts???? Which one do you like more??? Which one should I choose?? (Price-wise I am assuming the Ellis would be a looot more…) What is better for street size 20/22 (I am hoping to lose some weight but I’m not going to count on it, if it happens great if not, then I am prepared), an A-line or a dropped waist; full cloth arms or lace arms; scoop neck or V-neck (though I will probably put in a small modesty panel)??
HEELLLPPPP!!! (And thank you for reading!!! I can get long winded sometimes…)
