Ooh I’ve seen these on Etsy and was tempted to buy as a wedding getting ready robe. Thanks for posting! I love to read real reviews and would not have thought of this for a maternity robe but it definitely works.

I love it! I want one….how long did it take to have it shipped to you? I’m 36 weeks so I might not have too much longer!

Thanks for the recommendation! I messages her a few days ago on colour choices and once he gets back to me I going to order one. They look perfect!

Beautiful!

I read somewhere that the robes get nasty when you deliver with sweat and bodily fluids so it was recommended to wear the hospital gowns. Anyone hear this too??? BUT I do plan on bringing my own robes for the hospital stay.

@frenchie427:  Yes, I wouldn’t wear something like this to actually give birth in. But after you’ve given birth and recovered a bit and cleaned up, I think it would be nice to be able to change into something more comfy than one of those hospital gowns.

Ex, I definitely plan on putting on the hospital gown to actually deliver in, but then the next day, I have a nightgown and robe that I bought to wear.

@frenchie427:  Yep, and the sweat and the blood keep coming so it’s kind of pointless to change into something pretty. I work in L&D and we end up throwing a lot of these away for women ๐Ÿ™‚

@katlovesjames:  Thanks! I knew you meant you wouldn’t be wearing it during delivery, I was just clarifying for the other poster!
