I spent the day at home not feeling well, so I finally had a chance to gather a few things for the wedding! We were searching for a poem for our invitations & we loved this one so much that I wanted to share it with all of you!! If you’re in the mood for a bunch of mushy beautiful love poems, check out more of his work, it’s just gorgeous!
It’s just a piece of a poem called “Your Feet” by Pablo Neruda
“But I love your feet
only because they walked
upon the earth and upon
the wind and upon the waters,
until they found me”

I quoted a Pablo Neruda poem in our ceremony. I love his work.
Pablo Neruda wrote, ‘if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.’
He meant it as a threat.
He also said ‘But if each day, each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me…
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me, in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.’
Now that was a promise.
