So I am on the hunt for my precessional songs, and while I’m not sure my exact “theme”, I can envision what I want in my head. I want to use instrumental versions of songs, and I really want to be unique and be able to portray emotion with the songs I choose.
With that said, I’m having a hard time finding songs. Some of the songs I’m thinking of using is a violin cover to Train’s “Marry Me” and Jason Mraz’s “I won’t give up”, but I havent found an instrumental version that I’m in love with yet.
I just came across Vitamin String Quartet’s cover of “I’m yours” by Jason Mraz and its a beautiful version of the son! I’m really surprised how much I like it, as I usually feel like I’m yours is overplayed
Any songs/instrumentals that you’ve found that have surprised you by their beauty?

I really love Ben Bedford’s “Long As Your Eyes Are Blue.” Fiance likes it too, but isn’t 100% sold on using it, just because neither of us has blue eyes! I’m also a big fan of Kate Rusby’s “Walk the Road.”
These would be candidates for first dance/last dance at the reception, since we’re doing a church wedding with liturgical music for the ceremony. For Bees with secular ceremonies, though, “Walk the Road” would be a good processional and “Long As Your Eyes Are Blue” would work at some point during the ceremony.

Oh I found another one that I had to share!! This is an instrumental (piano and Cello) version of Christina Perry’s “A Thousand Years”. This Artist, Jon Schmidt, is AMAZING! He also does a version of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” that is great, and it normally would not be a song that I would consider. . but now Im having a hard time~
