I’m getting married at The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, PA next October! This is by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL outdoor (and indoor) venue I’ve seen.
I sing for a wedding band that travels the tri-state area, so I’ve seen what seems like just about EVERY venue- As a soon-to-be-bride, hopefully this will save other brides some time in their search!
Before I booked my big day- I read everyone else’s reviews about how perfect this venue is. I have to say- they have it right! Not only is this place absolutely gorgeous, but they make everything SO convenient- ceremony, cocktail, and reception are all held on the same property- overlooking Lake Nockamixon. AND they have a gorgeous inn with lots of rooms to accomodate your guests!
If you’re looking for THE PERFECT outside venue, do yourself a favor and check it out!! You can find great pictures on their Facebook page as well! :o)- Candice

@candiceburgin: It is a beautiful location. It gets a little pricey during peak season on a weekend, but there are definitely ways to keep the costs down.

It looks really beautiful, but they aren’t very forthcoming about the cost. Is it expensive? I don’t really want to waste my time and theirs visiting if it’s way out of my budget, but I love the way it looks online!

I looked at my 2012 pricing list that they gave me when I was deciding on a venue and at that time, an April event was $12,500 for rental on Saturday, Friday was $9500 and Sunday was $6000. This does not include the catering, which is done exclusively through Jeffrey Miller (I think it was him at the time).
I copied and pasted the rest of the .PDF they sent me so I hope it’s somewhat readable:
The price includes:

I just looked at the LAKE HOUSE INN and fell in love!! it is amazing everything about it was great except the price! It was about $30,000 for a friday night. They give you Thursday night for free but for friday night its $4,500 to stay the night and $6,5000 for the rental fee and then $177 a person and they need 125 people for friday night.
I LOVE this place just wish i could swing this!
