- Wedding: December 2012
I found an amazing wedding venue with very reasonable price. Looking at the website, it looks absolutely beautiful. The drive is about 35 min from my house and about 20 min into driving, it started to look a little ghetto (fort worth Texas) and even the street the venue is on doesn’t look the best. But the grounds the venue is on are gorgeous and well kept…as long as you don’t look across the street. Oh athere website failed to mention that the chapel is on the same grounds as a former orphanage. The buildings are pretty but some say “family services” on the outside. All proceeds from the wedding go toward the orphanage though, so that’s good.
Once you pull into the parking lot of the chapel it’s breath-taking and the inside is gorgeous as well. The inside and outside of the chapel looks like my dream wedding location! But I just hate that it’s in a not so good part of town.
What would you do in this situation? Have the wedding there or keep looking at other place?
Its going to be a very short and sweet wedding.. 3 hrs long with only 50 guests. The guests are our very closest friends and family and I don’t think they would be picky about the outsode location. But I don’t know what to do! Help!
