Just wanted to share this with everyone… I was incredibly moved by this couple and their beautiful day. It looks like they, their friends and family had a GREAT day & evening. Love is beautiful!
A member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity tied the knot with longtime beau recently in what is a brave undertaking considering the issues of sexuality and homophobia that exist in fraternities.
Robert Brown and Nathanael Gay married on September 8th, 2012 in Lexington, Ky surrounded by friends and family in an elaborate, red and white decorated venue.
The couple rocked matching white suits with red embellishments, while the women in their bridal party wore black tube dresses with red rose bouquets and the men wore black suits with white shirts.
According to their wedding website, the couple met in Walmart and have been together since April 2005.
Since the Youtube video of their wedding hit the web, a lot of controversy has surrounded the wedding with people objecting to the wedding while others have shown support for the couple.
See the BEAUTIFUL slideshow here.

I think this is wonderful and look forward to the day that everyone can legally marry the love of their choice. 🙂
P.S. Maryland voters vote YES on Question 6 next month. Woot! Woot!

- Wedding: February 2013 - Mansion House at the MD Zoo
That is a gorgeous wedding!
Also I am from MD and my presidential vote doesn’t really matter (stupid electoral college) but I am so excited to vote this year because we might actually have marriage equality, and I’d love to play a (teeny weeny) part in that.

I think of my brother who is gay and his future (He is 21) and I teared up. What a lovely story, and I will be sharing this post with him. Thanks!
Edit: Forgot to add how much I loved the video. <3

Congrats to them! It’s so sad that people are arguing on their video. If you don’t support the idea of gay marriage, that’s fine. But have enough respect to not criticise others on their wedding day.
