@TogetherThroughLife:  he is going to be so excited about finally doing it that he will not notice or care about any of the things you mentioned!

@PinkGlitterGirl:  Agreed!

I would suggest showering before you do the deed.. maybe take a bubble bath together… and then put on some really nice perfumed lotion and perfume. That always makes me feel smooth and sexy!

Light candles.. they cast a warm glow that disguises any flaws.

@TogetherThroughLife:  I think he’s going to think you’re gorgeous no matter what but some tips:

  • brush your teeth if you can
  • eye makeup may smear so make sure you run a tissue or remove the eye makeup to avoid the racoon look
  • if you can, maybe venture into some self-love. It’ll help you tell him what you like and what you don’t like.
  • relax and enjoy yourself!

To be honest, every guy I’ve been with hasnt cared the least bit about lingerie. They just want to get you naked. And the best tip I can give is to be confident, then you’ll be sexy and look beautiful.

Dim the lights if it makes you more comfortable. Nothing beats confidence though. I was a size 10, 36c and I always just walked around naked. Also, no lipstick or make up. Just be fresh and natural.

@TogetherThroughLife:  Feel free to take a quick shower and slip into something more comfortable – as long as it’s not flannel.

My best tip is candlelight.  Specifically little fake LED ones so you don’t have to worry about lighting the room on fire or falling asleep with them on.  Everybody looks amazing in candlelight.

And yeah, if your dress has lots of boning or structure, you might have those red indents, so I agree about taking some time to change and take a shower.

@TogetherThroughLife:  For sure.  I had a fitted dress with lots of boning as well, and it was 100 degrees on our wedding day, so when I came out of the dress, I was covered in red streaks and STUNK soooo bad.  I let Darling Husband take me out of the dress because he had a little fantasy about that, and then coaxed him into the shower with me once I got a whiff of my boob sweat.  haha
