I agree with the suggestions to take a shower or bath and then light some candles. Then just relax and enjoy – he’s going to think you’re gorgeous!

I agree with all the PP, he will be so excited, he isnt going to notice anything you are mentioning (red marks from tight clothing to keep stuff in place during the wedding) and as for your body, you are his new WIFE. he will think you are absolutely stunning, I promise. But to echo everyone else’s statements, shower, brush teeth, etc. And um, (trying to avoid the awkwardness of bringing this up) try to figure out his “shaving preference” (no hair, landing strip, trimmed, etc).

@canarydiamond:  agreed!

@TogetherThroughLife:  Your husband fell in love with you and you alone. He is going to want to see you how God made you. My Fiance and I are not virgins, but we stopped cold turkey when we got engaged. I’m a wee bit nervous about it, even though he has seen my body, but I know he loves my body in it’s natural state. I’m definitely planning on showering beforehand though. All day in a 45lb dress with full undergarments will not be good on lower extremities lol. But I will just plan on simple lace lingere and my face au naturale ๐Ÿ™‚

And trust me, if you decide not to do lingere, I don’t think he will mind ๐Ÿ˜‰ He will be too distracted by your natural beauty to even care ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would go into the bathroom and “Freshen up”.  Not shower, just clean up a bit after a long day and night.  Then I would lotion up and change into a nice bra and underwear, I would skip the lingerie but you probably won’t want to for your first time AND your wedding night (good for you).  Either way, he will love it

CONFIDENCE beats out any outfit or make up! Plus, i’ve noticed that black eyeliner/shadow smudges and leaves circles around the eyes.
