Gosh, it’s less than 50 days until our wedding, so I’m starting to do some “beauty things”. I’ve started to use Crest Advanced Pro white-strips (they are working great by the way) and have started a daily routine of weights and arm exercises (I don’t care about the rest of the body, just my arms).
What are you guys doing to get ready now that it’s so close?

Ive been working out pretty much since I got engaged…I have dropped ten pounds and work on my arms pretty much every day too! I am also going to pick up some crest white strips soon also…and I know…its awful…but Im going to go to the tanning salon a few times to get a little bit of color. Please dont judge! I am also going to start getting manicures so that my nails look awesome for the big day!

I’ve been working out consistently since the summer but agree that I’m really trying to tone of my arms – but want to slim down my overall body for the honeymoon more than the actual wedding! I plan on getting whitestrips next month. I’m trying to take care of my hair more too since I’ve been growing it out since I’ve been engaged.
@Ms.Teddy: I’m also going tanning every once in a while so I’m not judging! Not only do I not want to look sickly in my dress, but I can burn easily if I don’t get some sort of base. I don’t want to fry in Hawaii and then have the rest of our honeymoon be miserable.

I went tanning for the first time ever last week.. my Fiance is going to go so I feel like I kind of have to otherwise I will look superwhite!
I’m going to do white strips closer to the time and Im going to aim to exercise every day from now until the wedding and eat 1500 calories…also going to try to drink a lot more water..
panic mode is setting in!

Several weeks ago I added weights to my workout, for I want my arms to be somewhat tone for my sleeveless dress and my honeymoon in Hawaii.

@Ms.Teddy: I’ll be going to the tanning salon too. I have irregular color in my skin and I’ve been told tanning will help even it out!

I recently bought a series of facials at Bliss. It was expensive– $750 for 6 facials– but I’ve always been self-conscious about my skin and decided that if I don’t do it for my wedding, when else would I? I also made an appointment with a dermatologist to get some moderate hormone-related acne under control so I don’t have to stress about getting a huge zit the day before the wedding! I am thrilled with the results so far– I’ve been breakout free since I started on the prescriptions the derm gave me, and the facials have made me glow. It’s been well worth the money because it’s been a boost for how I feel.
Working out, eating better, and dropping about 12 lbs so far has been a big help too. In the next four months, I plan to get a couple of trims to keep my hair long but healthy, and I hope to lose about 10-15 more lbs and tone up. I will probably do the teeth whitening as well. Since my wedding is in July, I hope to get some color naturally before the wedding, but if I don’t, I may hit the tanning bed a few times too. I know it’s not healthy, but as long as it doesn’t become a regular thing, I’m not worried!

I’m sticking to my normal routine..healthy-ish eating, consistent work outs, etc . . . plus a bit of tanning + Crest Whitestrips.
I should add some arm workouts too!
One comment on the white strips…if you do the pro ones the box has 20 days worth of treatments (40 strips total) and tells you to do one upper+lower a day. Soooo April brides might want to get started soon! You COULD double up (do it 2x per day for ten days) but it might make your teeth pretty sensitive.
