I’m working on a quilt and I finally got all the squares done and ready to put together… problem is that I can’t decide how to arrange them! I’m also doubting my fabric choices a little bit (I love the zebra bc its fun, but I think the zebra + white is a bit too much)… but its too late now so I really hope that it comes out well once its actually done and set with a border! Anyways, please vote on the arrangement you like best!

I like option A. I am not sure why, but I do 🙂

Option A. I looked at the others and I think the reason nobody likes them is bc the white pieces are connected in B,C, and D, and it’s a little overwhelming. I like the zebra print, btw, and I don’t think it’s too much. 🙂

I like the fabric choices, they’re fun and fresh. That being said, I like all the ‘options’ about the same and don’t feel very strongly about any in particular. They all look good =]

I like C! Very nice work!

I went with D, but they all look great, so I don’t think you’ll mae a wrong decision. I cracked up at your title, but since I’ve been on weddingbee, when I find myself having a dilemma, it’s a great place for some kindness and wisdom.

I’m going to say something potentially heartbreaking and I don’t want it to be taken in any rude or crass context, it is simply the first thing that popped in my head after seeing the pictures. I hope you make the quilt however you see it being the most beautiful, becuase I love the colors and zebra stripes. But.
Options A, B, and D remind me just a LITTLE bit of swastikas.
I actually chose C because the pattern reminds me of a Z for zebra!

I agree with kkkatieb12 and goldfishpie. I like A the best, because the connected white seems overwhelming, but the shapes do remind me a bit of swastikas.
That’s alright, they’re just the awesome kind, and not the awful kind.

I like A best, with B in second. I think the patterns on those are more consistent, which works better imho. But I also don’t really think they look like swastikas either, so the shape isn’t bothering me…

A – wish I knew how to quilt!

@goldfishpie- haha no offense taken, that obviously wasn’t intentional 🙂 When I drew the pattern for this I actually first had the stripes smaller and my mom told me it looked like swasticas. Then I made them wider and my fam agreed that had remedied the “situation.” But apparently not.
Thanks everyone for your input! My out-of-the-gate favorite is A but I think the white is a little startling. Fiance likes C best and I also like that one because it looks a little more random. I’ll have to think on this a little more before I make a decision and start sewing.
@guitargirl, i know! its like whenever i have to choose something now i’m like hmmmmmmmmm i wonder what popular opinion is haha.

i agree that A is best cuz the white together is overwhelming, I think that the way A is put together it gives a nice flow and makes the zebra print look great together.
And, can you teach me how to quilt??
