I’ve decided to buy white ones and dye them 🙂 I did a test run last night and it turned out perfect! Idk if anyone else was looking for yellow and was getting as frustrated as i was to i thought I’d share my solution.

Good solution! Do you have pictures? You should post a DIY tutorial, I’m sure lots of bees would like to see how you did that 🙂 http://diy.weddingbee.com/

Great idea!! How expensive were the linens originally and about how much did you spend on dye materials??
I’m looking for a mauvey color, and everything seems to be either too pink or too purple..

I second (or third?) the DIY idea, I’d love a tutorial as I’ll probably end up dying alot of stuff because I really want everything to be the same shade of aqua.

Great idea! Glad to hear that worked out!

I know – why doesn’t anyone have yellow linens to rent?? I was thinking about doing this, too – what is the fiber content of the napkins you used? I figured the really affordable napkins that have a poly blend in them would not take the dye up as well, making it an exercise in futility. But if you did it, so can I! Details, please! 🙂

Well i just used RIT dye, which says not to do polyester, but i am stubborn so i tried it anyway and it worked fine! I am just going to buy the napkins from efavormart because their prices are the best. I just soakes it in the dye and water for one, but for the whole batch i will be using the washing machine.

Hi sjones724 are you willing to sell your napkins after your wedding? I would be interested.

Great idea! I’ve been searching the internet tonight frustrated that I waited too long and missed the one not ugly color of yellow napkins I could find and they are now sold out. This may be my solution.
How much RIT did you buy for how many napkins?
