You might as well try!  Especially if it’s something you’ll never use.  And your honey has no problem returning a gift from a relative.

I would just try and see what happens. Most stores seem to really be cracking down on returns without a reciept. Some actually put a limit on the number you’re allowed and most will only give you store credit for the current price of the item. Never hurts to ask though and see what they say.

We returned stuff from there and what we had left over after exchanging they put on a gift card.

@Jennlee  They won’t give you cash for it. But if they have the exact item, you might be able to get in store credit.

@Jennlee  If they won’t take it back there, try Kohls.  They’ll take back almost anything if they’ve carried it at one point…
